Silk Abaca Scintilla is a fine blend of silk, abaca fibres and a lurex thread. The abaca fibres are interwoven with silk to create a pliable, yet strong fabric that creates amazing curves when twisted and shaped. Silk Abaca is a popular enhancement to any hat or fascinator and makes lovely flowers.
The scintilla abaca is extra soft and easily makes lovely bows and swirls - see attached picture
